Glad to have you here :)
Take a look around and make yourself at home.
This is a space for sharing thoughts, updates, and whatever else I feel like posting.
You can find links for this site and my other projects in the 'Info' sidebar.
Hi, I'm Jamie! I'm a disciple of Jesus, and a game designer and developer.
You can find out more info about me on the Webmaster page.

This website is designed to look like a crossover of old Windows OS and R4: Ridge Racer Type 4, a game with one of my favourite aesthetics.
I realised recently how good of a crossover this could be when watching the ending to Kaiju No. 8's first series, which features animation of a really fun desktop. I plan on doing more in the future to re-create the desktop feeling!
Bold, block colours are such a vibe in my opinion (if you couldn't guess) and I love including my favourite silly cutesy characters (DanDaDan is one of my faves!!)
I'm also a big fan of grainy textures, so CRT filters, scanlines, and other "imperfect" aesthetics, especially when they evoke retro tech.
The site is almost entirely hand-coded, though I used a template as a starting point (see credits below).
There's so many good games. I've got a particular love for indie games, I love smaller experiences which are curated to provide a very specific experience.
I love getting to find new games to play from cool devs, especially little singleplayer experiences or things I can enjoy with friends. Having got a Steam Deck recently, I've been trying to get back into some of the singleplayer titles that I haven't got around to yet!
I've also been using the Steam Deck to play some older games - emulation is so cool, and preservation of older games is really important! We need to make sure that we're holding on to as many games as possible, and ensuring that physical media lasts going fowards too.
I'm currently looking forward to playing:
Here's a few others I like, in no particular order:
I've been really enjoying getting to listen to a wide variety of music. As someone who enjoys many different genres, it's rewarding to find new artists through online platforms, and to enjoy blasting some good music in my headphones whilst working on my projects.
You can check out the end of each of my blogs in the updates section to see what I've been listening to recently, or take a look at the top of this page!
There's a tonne of great Christian artists out there. I always thought that Christian music was limited to worship and gospel music, but as it turns out, there are artists in almost every space who are using their music to praise the Lord. You may well have heard of some of them:

You can find out more about what I'm listening to through my Last.FM account, which is connected to read whatever I play (from my PC, at least).
